Common questions
Where are my inspirations saved?
On the device you saved them on — inside the iPhone app, or in your browser for the web app. Nothing is uploaded to us. See the privacy policy.
Do my iPhone and web app sync?
Not yet. Syncing (and shared folders) are on the way. For now, each device keeps its own box.
How do I remove the sample inspirations?
On the Home screen, tap “Clear samples.” Your own inspirations aren’t touched.
Recording or the camera isn’t working.
On iPhone, go to Settings → Inspo Box and turn on Microphone, Camera or Photos. In a browser, click the icon next to the address bar and allow the microphone for my.inspobox.app. On computers, photos and videos are upload-only.
How do I mark the part that inspired me?
Open an inspiration and drag across the waveform (or across a photo) to highlight it, add a note, and tap Save. Tap a saved moment to play just that part.
How do I delete something?
Open it, tap ••• in the top corner, then Delete. Deleting a folder or mood board never deletes the inspirations inside it.
